On March 22, 2006, Katherine Bell Moore (“plaintiff’) filed a complaint alleging violations of 42 U.S.C. § 1981 and 42 U.S.C. § 1982. The case pertains to a money judgment that was entered in state court in favor of defendant Idealease (“Idealease”) against plaintiff and a corporate defendant. On April 25, 2006, plaintiff filed a bankruptcy petition pursuant to title 11, chapter 13 of the United States Code.
