Background
This matter is before the court on the defendant City of Chicago’s motion to disqualify plaintiff’s counsel. The underlying case involves a civil rights action against the City of Chicago, Cook County, the Superintendent of the Chicago Police Department, various police officers, a lab technician employed by the Chicago Police Department and various lawyers from the Cook County State’s Attorney office.
