JERRE S. WILLIAMS, Circuit Judge.

Jeffrey M. Lorence was convicted by a jury of maliciously destroying a building used in interstate commerce by means of an explosive, in violation of 18 Ú.S.C. § 844(i). On appeal, Lorence argues that the government lacked jurisdiction to prosecute because the fire charged in the indictment did not involve the use of an “explosive”, as contemplated by the statute. Alternatively, he argues that there was insufficient evidence to support his conviction. Finding no merit to either claim, we affirm the judgment of the district court.
