This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction entered in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York after a jury trial. Defendant-appellant Gormanston Wishart was convicted on charges of having unlawfully brought an alien into the United States in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1324 1 and of conspiracy to commit that substantive offense. 2 Upon his convictions Wishart was sentenced, to concurrent fifteen-month prison terms.
