In this appeal we are asked to determine whether the lower court erred in affirming an order of the Workmen’s Compensation Commission (Commission), whereby the claimant (appellee) was found to be totally permanently disabled from the occupational disease of asbestosis and was awarded a sum not to exceed $30,000, as provided by the Workmen’s Compensation Act (Act), Maryland Code (1964 Repl. Vol.) Art. 101, §§ 24 and 36.
