for the Court:
¶ 1. This case comes before this Court on appeal from an order dismissing C.D. Pickle Jr.’s motion for post-conviction relief (PCR) as time-barred and successive-writ barred. Pickle seeks post-conviction relief from a 1977 conviction where a Le-flore County jury convicted Pickle of capital murder for raping and then murdering Mary Elizabeth Harthcock. Pickle was sentenced to life in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC). Pickle later filed a PCR motion, which the circuit court dismissed.
