Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Krogmann, J.), entered October 14, 2010 in Warren County, *916which granted defendant’s motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.

In November 2007, plaintiff was injured while performing renovations on defendant’s home when a front porch step collapsed while he was standing on it.
