¶ 1. We review the report and recommendation of the referee, Attorney Jonathan V Goodman, that Attorney Maureen B. Fitzgerald's license to practice law in Wisconsin be suspended for a period of six months and that she be required to pay the costs of this disciplinary proceeding, which were $1,075.23 as of December 8, 2009. Because no appeal *710has been filed in this matter, our review proceeds pursuant to SCR 22.17(2).1
