Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Schenectady County (Austin, J.), rendered January 28, 2000, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of manslaughter in the second degree.

Defendant was indicted on multiple charges ranging from murder in the second degree to endangering the welfare of child as the result of the death of a 3V2-month-old infant who was in his care when she received traumatic injuries to her head.
