Paul W. Brosman, Judge:

The accused was convicted by special court-martial2 — on his plea of guilty— of unauthorized absence and missing a movement of his ship, respectively violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Articles 86 and 87, 50 USC §§ 680 and 681. He was sentenced to receive a bad-conduct discharge and to be confined at hard labor for three months. The findings and. sentence were approved by the convening and supervisory authorities.
