After the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and Mike Morath, Commissioner of Education, notified the Academy of Careers and Technologies, Inc. d/b/a Academy of Careers and Technologies Charter School (ACT) that TEA intended to revoke ACT’s charter, ACT sued TEA and filed a motion for temporary injunction to prevent the revocation.
