Prince Gale was convicted of the murder of Calvin Brown, and, upon recommendation of the jury, was sentenced to life imprisonment. lie moved for a new trial, which was refused, and he excepted.
1. Pending tlie cross-examination of a witness for tlie State, she collapsed physically and had to be taken from the court-room. Just before she was removed from the stand she did not answer several questions of the cross-examining attorney.
