The bill in this case, as originally framed and as finally amended, is filed by the defendant in error, Johnson, against the plaintiff in error, John Gordon, to enforce a vendor’s lien upon 94 acres of land, reserved in a deed of said 94 acres executed by Johnson to Gordon on August 23, 1890. The deed recites upon its face, that a vendor’s lien is expressly reserved upon the lands therein described to be enforced in any court having jurisdiction in such a case.
