TACHA, Circuit Judge.
Plaintiff Gary Freeman, guardian of the estate of Rocky Jess Stone, commenced this action in the District Court of Murray County, Oklahoma. He sued defendant Alex Brown & Sons, Inc. (“Browm”), to recover funds lost when the company allegedly gave Freeman’s predecessor poor investment advice. Brown removed the action, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1441, to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, which exercised jurisdiction based upon diversity of citizenship. 28 U.S.C. § 1332.
