This is an appeal from a district court decision denying the appellant Joylene Ever-hart’s (Everhart) motion to continue trial and dismissing with prejudice her case against Washington County Road and Bridge Department, Washington County, and John Does I through V (collectively referred to as the Respondents). Everhart appeared pro se for two years preceding the trial, but hired an attorney, E. Lee Schlender (Schlender) shortly before the scheduled trial date.
