MEMORANDUM OPINION

IRVING HILL, District Judge.

This case enables the Court to use the 1966 amendment of Federal Civil Rule 15(c) for the beneficial purposes for which the amendment was intended.

The instant case is a personal injury action based on negligence. On January 22, 1963, Plaintiff, Mrs. Meredith, was a paying passenger on a United Air Lines flight from Seattle to Los Angeles. She is a resident of Washington.
