NARICK, Senior Judge.

Judith M. Wilson (Claimant) has appealed an order of the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board (Board) affirming a referee’s decision denying her compensation for a job-related psychiatric injury under Section 301(c) of The Pennsylvania Workmen’s Compensation Act (Act).1

The Referee summarized the facts of this case as follows. Claimant worked for the Aluminum Company of America (Alcoa) for over twenty-five years, and between 1969 and 1985 she held responsible positions as an Administrative Assistant. In February, 1979, her then manager, Mr. Hendrick, suffered a fatal heart…
