Order, Supreme Court, New York County (Stanley Sklar, J.), entered December 1, 1992, which granted defendants’ motion to confirm the report of the Special Referee recommending a change of venue from New York County to Suffolk County, unanimously affirmed, with costs.

A hearing on the issue of plaintiffs’ residence was properly directed in view of the internal inconsistencies in their papers indicating a residence in three different counties (see, Cerniglia v Combes, 157 AD2d 499).
