Defendants appeal from orders of the Wayne County Circuit Court denying their motions to withdraw their guilty pleas.

On December 15, 1974, at approximately 3 a.m. the defendants, together with Thomas Roberts, 1 were driving in Edward Hines Park in the City of Westland when they pulled behind a parked car. The men approached the car, knocked on the windows, announced that they were Westland city police, and demanded that the man and woman inside the vehicle exit.
