Defendant appeals as of right from his jury trial conviction of second-degree child abuse, MCL 750.136b(3); MSA 28.331(2)(3). Defendant was sentenced to thirty to forty-eight months’ imprisonment. We affirm.

On August 4, 1993, the victim in this case, a baby boy, was bom to defendant and Carol Bialik. Forceps were used during the delivery. The forceps left a bruise on the right and left sides of the victim’s head.
