Petitioner seeks, in this petition for habe-as corpus, to set aside his September 12, 1983 New York State conviction, after a jury trial, of murder in the second degree (P.L. Section 125.25 subd.(l)) and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree (P.L. Section 265.03).
