WOOD, Circuit Judge.

Jimmy Kinslow, a state inmate, brought suit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, alleging that certain prison officials violated his constitutional right to adequate medical treatment while he was being transferred from one institution to another. He sued employees of the Illinois Department of Corrections (“IDOC”), employees of the New Mexico Department of Corrections (“NMDOC”), and TransCor America, LLC, the private company hired to transport him between facilities, along with some of TransCor’s employees.
