On February 15, 1984, a complaint was filed in the Superior Court of Fulton County naming A Betterway Rent-A-Car, Inc., d/b/a Budget Rent-A-Car of Atlanta, as defendant. The plaintiff in the suit was denominated as “Barton Contracting Company and Thacker Construction Company, a joint venture.” Damages were sought against defendant for the alleged breach of a construction contract.
