— This action is brought to recover damages for personal injury. The plaintiff, a man forty-two years of age, was employed as a day laborer at the defendant’s roundhouse in Cedar Rapids. Among his various duties was that of handling wood for use in the roundhouse. *1340He was injured January 20, 1912, about 10 o’clock at uiglrt. Just prior to his injury, he was ordered by the foreman to carry some wood to the roundhouse from the yards, a distance of about one and one-half blocks.
