Duckworth, Justice.

Duvall Williams filed in Whitfield superior court at the July term, 1927, a petition for habeas corpus, against Mrs. Irene Barriek Mann, seeking custody of a minor child, Richard Williams. Judgment was rendered, awarding custody to the defendant until the minor attained the age of eleven, and to the plaintiff thereafter; providing that the minor should spend fixed periods of time with the other party; and requiring the plaintiff to contribute fixed sums to the support of the minor, and plaintiff to give bond in the sum of $2,000 to insure full compliance with the judgment.…
