HAZEL, District Judge.

The Hannibal Goodwin patent in suit, No. 610, 861,. for photographic pellicle and process of producing same, now owned by the complainant company, was originally applied for on the 2d day of May, 1887, and was granted September 13, 1898, more than 11 years later. The bill alleging infringement by the Eastman Kodak Company of 11 out of a total of 12 claims was filed in December, 1902, and argued and submitted for decision in May, 1913. _ The answer of the defendant sets up various defenses, denies infringement of the patent and complainant’s title thereto, and asserts the…
