In this criminal appeal, defendant challenges his convictions for coercion (Count 1) and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence (Counts 2 and 3). Defendant raises two assignments of error, neither of which was preserved below. In his first assignment, defendant contends that the trial court erred by failing to exclude, sua sponte, vouching testimony of a state’s witness.
