Carlos Fontánez-Núñez, • his wife Nora Rivera-Cardenales, and the Conjugal Partnership Fontánez-Rivera (collectively “Fontánez”) brought suit under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e-2000h-6, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 621-634, claiming gender and age discrimination in employment as well as a hostile environment.
