On or about April 15, 1907, the board of water supply of the city of New York, by its president, verified a petition reciting various statutes in relation to providing the said city with an additional supply of pure and wholesome water, for the acquisition of lands or interests therein, and for the construction of the necessary reservoirs, aqueducts, etc., for that purpose, and the proceedings of various bodies thereunder.
