This court acceptedjurisdiction of this case for the limited purpose of deciding whether to grant the motion to dismiss the appeal filed by Arkansas Western Gas Co. Appellee Arkansas Western Gas Co. (AWG) filed a petition with the Arkansas Public Service Commission (PSC or “the Commission”) seeking a rate increase on December 29, 2004. In its application, AWG asked that its rates be increased annually by $9,739,459.
