Mary Miller was an employee of F. W. Woolworth Company for about 9 years. At the time of her discharge on November 22, 1958, she worked as a dishwasher and waitress at defendant company’s soda fountain in one of its stores. Upon application for unemployment compensation benefits following her discharge, the Michigan employment security commission determined that plaintiff was disqualified from receiving such benefits, her discharge from employment having been for misconduct connected with her work, within the meaning of section 29 (1) (a) (2) of the employment security statute.
