Defendant appeals from his conviction on one count of second degree murder, § 565.-021.1 RSMo (Cum.Supp.1984), for which he was sentenced to thirty years in prison. On appeal, defendant alleges that the trial court erred in: (1) overruling defendant’s motion for judgment of acquittal; (2) overruling defendant’s motion to suppress physical evidence; (3) overruling defendant’s motion to suppress statements made by defendant before he had been advised of his Miranda rights; and (4) permitting defendant’s ex-wife to testify about an allegedly confidential communication…
