11 This disciplinary matter arises from formal charges filed by the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (“ODC”) against respondent, Steven Courtney Gill, an attorney licensed to practice law in Louisiana.

UNDERLYING FACTS

On August 10, 2008, police officers observed a vehicle driving on Tulane Avenue *670in New Orleans at a high rate of speed and in a reckless manner. The officers stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as respondent, who was noted to have a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.
