Defendants in these consolidated cases each were convicted of one count of first-degree robbery, ORS 164.415, one count of third-degree assault, ORS 163.165, and one count of first-degree burglary, ORS 164.225. On appeal, defendants raise numerous challenges to their convictions and sentences, most of which are identical as to each defendant. We write to address two of the assignments of error that are common to both defendants, and we reject without discussion their remaining assignments of error.
