A Clayton County jury convicted Ulysses Smith of two counts of theft by taking. Smith was sentenced as a recidivist under OCGA § 17-10-7 (c) because of his three prior felony convictions. On appeal, Smith contends that his conviction should be reversed because his trial counsel was ineffective, the evidence was insufficient to support his conviction, and the trial court erred in its charge to the jury on intent. For reasons which follow, we affirm.
