LANSING, Judge.

A jury found David Wright guilty of one count of illegal possession of a firearm and two counts of second-degree assault. Wright argues that the district court abused its discretion in admitting as excited utterances statements made in a 911 call and statements that the complainants made to police who responded to the 911 call. Wright also argues that the statement he made in response to police force used to subdue him was not voluntary and should not have been admitted; that the court abused its discretion in ruling that he could be impeached with his prior convictions…
