The defendant John Wakefield is charged with murder in the first degree (Penal Law § 125.27 [1]), murder in the second degree (Penal Law § 125.25 [1] [a]), murder in the second degree (Penal Law § 125.25 [3]), robbery in the first degree (Penal Law § 160.15 [1]), and robbery in the first degree (Penal Law § 160.15 [3]).
