HOGAN, Judge.

In this action for a declaratory judgment, plaintiff American Standard sought an adjudication that it was not obliged to defend certain actions for damages filed in the Circuit Court of Dent County. It appeals from an adverse judgment.

In barest sketch and outline, the background of the controversy is: That on October 31, 1967, a Mr. Ralph Rider made application to the plaintiff for an automobile liability policy covering a 1959 Lincoln Continental automobile.
