CSX locomotive engineer Ricky Edwards brought this action under the Fed eral Employers’ Liability Act (FELA), 45 U.S.C. § 51 et seq., and the Locomotive Inspection Act (LIA), 49 U.S.C. § 20701, after sustaining severe injuries on the job. The Magistrate Judge determined that Edwards’s negligence was the sole cause of his injuries and granted CSX’s motion for summary judgment. We REVERSE and REMAND for further proceedings.
