HEANEY, Senior Circuit Judge.
LaDonna Hogg filed an application for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits on February 14, 1991, alleging disability since mid-1988.1 Hogg’s claim was denied *278administratively. She filed an appeal in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa, and that court affirmed the Secretary’s decision. Hogg subsequently appealed to this court. After a careful review of the record and briefs, we reverse and remand with directions to the Secretary to order the payment of SSI benefits to Hogg.
