Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Turn*683er, Jr., J.), rendered November 24,1992, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of vehicular manslaughter in the second degree, criminally negligent homicide and driving while intoxicated.

Defendant’s conviction stems from a motor vehicle accident which occurred when defendant drove his vehicle north in the southbound lane of the Northway.
