This is a proceeding under the Act of April 23, 1903, relating to the care, treatment and control of dependent, neglected, incorrigible and delinquent children under the age of sixteen years. The case was presented to the court of quarter sessions sitting as a juvenile court by the district attorney on the petition of a citizen of the Borough of Huntingdon who was also the chief of police. It was alleged in the petition that Nellie Showalter Mountain of that borough was the mother of five children under sixteen years of age — the oldest being about thirteen years old,…
