Appeal by the People from an order of the Supreme Court, Richmond County (Goldberg, J.), dated July 7, 1981, which, after a hearing, granted defendant’s motion to suppress a gun seized during a search of his car. Order reversed, on the law, motion denied and matter remitted to the Supreme Court, Richmond County, for further proceedings. The police obtained information from a reliable informant that defendant, in possession of a sawed-off shotgun, planned to commit a robbery that evening.
