In this diversity action, Jack and Pearl Randall appeal from a final order entered in the United States District Court 1 for the Eastern District of Missouri granting a Directed Verdict in favor of May Department Stores Co. (“May”), 2 in their nuisance case. On appeal, the Randalls challenge the district court’s Directed Verdict on their nuisance claim and the district court’s granting of May’s Motion In Limine No. 1, restricting the Randalls’ proof of damages to those damages accrued as of the date of filing of the initial complaint.
