CROW, Judge.

Both named defendants confessed judgment for the relief demanded in plaintiffs’ petition, but the trial court entered judgment against plaintiffs. Plaintiffs appeal.

Plaintiffs filed a petition February 18, 1988, in the Circuit Court of Camden County to quiet title to a parcel of real estate, record ownership of which was alleged to be in Hays Estate Realty Company, a defunct Missouri corporation. The petition averred defendants Robert H. McRoberts, Sr., and Frances Hays Gay were the last surviving officers and directors and statutory trustees of the corporation. Plaintiffs claimed…
