Anthony Kissane, otherwise called Red Kissane, was tried in the criminal court of Cook county on the charge of carrying on or about his person a concealed weapon. The jury brought in a verdict of guilty, and judgment was entered sentencing him to imprisonment in the county jail for a term of one year and to pay a fine of $300. This judgment was affirmed by the Appellate Court for the First District, and the cause has been brought to this court by writ of error.
