On the 4th day of March, 1909, the prosecuting attorney of Dent county filed an information before a justice of the peace of Spring Creek township in said county, charging the defendant with a violation of the Local Option Law, relating to the sale of intoxicating liquors. A change of venue was taken to another justice of the peace, before whom the defendant was tried and convicted, and appealed to the circuit court of said county, where he was again tried, on the 19th day of April, 1909, and convicted, and his punishment assessed at a fine of $¿00 and six months imprisonment in the county…
