— The question with us for decision is whether notice for an election to be held October 11, 1887, under the local option law, which is given by four consecutive insertions in a newspaper, beginning on September 17, continuing September 24, October 1, and ending October 8, thus covering a period of only twenty-four days, is the notice required by the law.
