GUTIERREZ, Judge.
Maurice Ronald Troutman appeals from his judgment of conviction for rape. Specifi cally, he alleges prosecutorial misconduct deprived him of his rights to due process and a fair trial. For the reasons set forth below, we vacate the judgment of conviction and remand for a new trial.
