Peggy C. LaTouche, hereinafter called the plaintiff, was injured when a taxicab in which she was riding as a paying passenger, and operated by Independent Cab Association, Inc., collided on the Lee Bridge in the city of Richmond, with a car driven by John Murchison, Jr. Upon her motion for judgment against the Cab Association and Murchison, there was a trial before a jury which resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff against the Cab Association in the sum of $15,000, and in favor of the codefendant, Murchison.
